About Us

Charles Pickering currently serves as the Managing Funeral Director. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Business with a Minor in Religious Studies from San Diego State University. The foundation of his customer service comes from his community service in the church and other non-profit organizations. He also worked as a Senior District Executive for the Boy Scouts of America and as a Production Coordinator/ Event Planner on International Ceremonies. While he is passionate about working in the international theater, Charles considers it a blessing and a privilege to serve our local community while working with family. He has experienced first-hand the heartbreak of burying a brother, a best friend, and a host of other loved ones. Those experiences help him guide families to make the best-informed decisions in their time of
need.

Trinita Wilson is the Administrative Funeral Director and Owner of Prestige Funeral Home. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She dedicated over thirty-five years of her professional career to serving the community while working and volunteering for non-profit organizations and local churches. After retiring she wanted to
continue to serve the community and felt called to the role of Funeral Director. She has had to bury both of her parents, a father figure, grandparents, her own children, close friends, and a host of other loved ones. No matter how many services she has attended or planned, she will still shed tears even for complete strangers. The care of your loved one and guiding you through the process are her top priority. As the visionary and founder of Prestige Funeral Home, she is determined to deliver the service that suits your customized needs and your economic circumstances, these concepts are the foundation of our mortuary.
