Gary Michael Bryant Sr.

Gary Michael Bryant Sr. also known as G-Money, was born in Newport, Rhode Island on May 23, 1958, to proud parents, Claude “Pete” Bryant, and Dorothy “Big Momma” Bell. To this union five children were born, with Gary being the second. Gary and his siblings moved to Los Angeles, California at a young age. He attended school in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Gary also enjoyed and participated in weightlifting and boxing, he’s a southpaw.

Gary loved spending time with family, he always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He loved to BBQ and spent lots of time in the kitchen. Anywhere he went he had to stop and talk to everyone. Gary enjoyed looking, smelling, and dressing nice. His favorite basketball player was Kobe Bryant. His favorite boxer was Muhammad Ali. He liked the movie, The Mack. He loved music, Smokey Robinson, Temptations and Stevie Wonder are just a few of his favorite artist that he enjoyed.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Claude Bryant and Dorothy Bell, his brother, Cliff Bryant, his sister, Phyllis Bryant, and grandson, Chance Terrell.

He leaves many loved ones to mourn his passing: his loving wife, Thenia Gladney, sons, Gary Michael Bryant Jr. (Semone) and Terry Bryant, daughters, Chloe Terry and Nicole Bryant (Timmie), step-children, Tiffany Brown (Orlando), and Tomarie Johnson, sisters, Cheryl Bryant and Debra Bryant, grandchildren, Charles Griffis IV, Garione Bryant, Giona Bryant, Giavanna Bryant, Nevaeh Harrison, Or’Monie Land, Tania Land, Taj Johnson, Jabari Manning, sisters-in-law Arletha Wright (Eddie), Chequita Palmer (Albert), Sandra J. Gladney (Paul), and Karen Wright (Mikal). Also mourning Gary’s passing are a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
