A Beautiful Life Story of  Ardonis M. Barney

Ardonis was born on October 24^th, 2006 to Shawana Littizs and Armondo Barney. He was his mother’s biggest fan. When she would get her motorcycle out for a ride, he was always there to help her push it out of the garage and he would listen for her return so that he could always be there to help her push it in, even if he had to stay up all night.

Some would say Ardonis was truly a mama’s boy because he was always up under his mother but that never bothered him, he loved her with everything he had. He also enjoyed to take videos and pictures but playing video games was his favorite hobby. When he stayed up late you could hear him talking to his friends online as he played. We would always tell him that he was getting too loud and that he needed to calm down, what we would give now to hear him shouting at that game now… Our hearts are torn into pieces, and we miss him more with every passing moment. Sometimes it feels like the tears will never stop.  

On February 25^th, 2023, at the young age of sixteen, Ardonis departed from this life prematurely. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Frank and Bernice Thomas and his Irish twin Kaniya. To cherish his memories he leaves behind his mother, Shawana, his father Armondo, two sisters, Anastasia and Karice, two brothers, Keyonte and Auhzaray, his grandmother Sheila, a very special lady that raised and loved him as if her were her own, Paulette Turner and a host of family and friends, including quite a few online gamers. Gone but never forgotten, he will always be in our hearts and the small acts of love that we do for each other.
